Death as the measure of all things

The most predatory frame of perception is thinking about what and how can kill you and your enemies. Let's say size and strength don't matter. A poorly placed hit by an infection, poison, something sharp, or something that crushes properly can easily destroy you, even with the force of a rabid mouse, insect, or child. On the other hand, while even a 0.01 risk is high for yourself, for many enemies even 0.8 is too little. But you walk around like that. You think: How can this kill me? How can this kill my enemies? Is it friend, foe, or neutral? Does it frighten or attack (a very relevant question about dogs)? You can walk in places with varying degrees of danger to calibrate your feelings and reactions.
