Sports are the devil's plaything, destroying human dignity. A desecration of the sanctity of the body, like a brothel. Metal money should have remained (even without precious metals). Paper is disgusting. Making coins like 5,000 rubles is no problem. Childhood is the devil's plaything. Creating a false world in which Santa Claus exists, children are delivered by storks, and other excuses for avoiding taboo topics is literally what the father of lies would do. I'm not saying we need to show everything; after all, even adults don't routinely attend autopsies at the morgue, for example, despite knowing about death and murder. Respect for elders is almost infinitely less important than respect for individuals. For the last 100 years, we've been living in a branch of hell here, and respecting its experienced inhabitants is, well, nothing. Isekai (time travelers) is one of the best premise, but it's almost impossible to unravel without going downhill. Jobless Reincarnation succeeds because the plot smoothly follows the character's development and makes unconventional moves, such as the protagonist's first girlfriend running away instead of becoming the first wife of a harem. Of course, all the Chekhov's guns then lead to a standard set of cliches, but I'm not saying this anime is good. The fundamental problem is that the entire fiction industry is a fanservice conveyor belt. Therefore, all logical consequences of the premise are sacrificed for the sake of the plot. For example, when the premise demands brutality, torture, and all that, but the protagonist takes childish revenge. Or when three to five events are supposed to be schematically depicted over the course of several months, but instead they focus on one event, and the problem is resolved in one fell swoop. Generally, fantastical assumptions are almost always unnecessary for the plot. Takopi's original sin, for example, could have been transformed into a story without magic with a little reworking. In Death Note, the main character was supposed to be enjoying power, not mete out dubious lynchings, echoing the current government (which he didn't care about in the original). I don't know how it happened that animated films in the West became disgusting children's crap called "cartoons," while in the East they became magnificent adult "anime." It's a tragedy, because cartoons are much better in production and plot nuances, but their plots are simply childish, meaning they have negative value. We live in a world of absolutely horrific censorship. This is primarily manifested in the main generators of culture, like Hollywood and the West in general. It's difficult to distill all the bans, especially since most of the censorship is caused by a blinkered population ready to destroy the lives of creators, not by a literal government decree. But by what's released, you can see how many plot twists have gone wrong.
