Federalist No. 0
Preamble.
We need a new form of collaboration. Open, convenient, and fast. This channel will publish a series of essays on specific issues of such communication.
I know I talk too much, I'm abrasive
You're incredible in court
You're succinct, persuasive
My client needs a strong defense, you're the solution
Who's your client?
The new U.S. Constitution?
I welcome co-authors on this blog, as well as detailed comments and criticism.
In general, creating a superpower of any kind is only possible if there's a large pie to divide. Like Venetian merchant communities, like Dutch joint-stock companies. Without the pie, you're just a very good community without resources.
Who are we going to befriend?
The right question is: what portion of your transactions do you conduct with counterparties you consider unscrupulous?
For example, leaking personal data (address, phone number, passports, and bank accounts) by services, even for one person, if they were then sold on the darknet and caused damage, should be punished as harshly as possible, but it's practically not punished at all. Therefore, unscrupulous corporations are compromised for me.
You can estimate the share of unscrupulous counterparties in your transactions. A realistic estimate is between 30% and 90%, depending on how you like civilization as a whole.
There are also many examples of how we managed to corner the market of unscrupulous counterparties. Take Uber versus the mafia of shady taxi drivers.
The idea is that there are two ways to shut down the space of non-cooperators. Business-wise, in which case it's a business and we have significant resources. Or through personal communication, in which case we have a good community environment.
So, a blog about cooperation in general. And the villains are those who refuse to cooperate and commit lawlessness.
