The only law-abiding person

Being, I don't know, honest is the simplest and most beneficial course of action on a day-to-day level. Simply observing the formal and informal rules. They're quite clear. Zero problems, only benefits. Moreover, such simple decency leads to a fundamentally better quality of life in the long run. The problem is that no one follows them. I dislike bus drivers the most. The level of ugliness is even higher than that of those barely self-aware "blahblah" racers who will drive for two days without sleep, almost full-time, but they'll drop you off at the agreed-upon spot. And not at some random trashy spot where you'll slip on ice, get your feet wet on the way to your destination, and other such nonsense. And it's illegal. They should make proper stops, say, at a bus station, but they don't. Although they don't do so in the city either; like, in the center, at most, a properly equipped stop with people. No. Is there malicious intent? On average, there is. An attempt to cut corners and save some scraps of resources. Street scammers fall into the same category. In fact, almost everyone does something like this. The key point is that it's not an attempt to gain some vital resource, but rather an unwillingness to spend or not receive even a penny of benefit. Such a strange position. It's as if people lack the primal sense that "the game isn't worth the candle." As a result, few decent people behave this way simply out of a primal sense of security, while insectoids fall into their own trap because of its absence.
